At approximately two AM this morning Investigators from the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office, along with Deputy United States Marshalls and officers from the Searcy Police Department took twenty-four year old Joshua Paul Nelson into custody. Nelson was located at an apartment complex on Elm Street in Searcy and after a foot pursuit was arrested on a Cleburne County warrant for Aggravated Assault. At the time of his arrest Nelson was armed with a twenty-two caliber handgun. Nelson is currently being held in the Cleburne County Detention Center on a $30,000 bond.
