Sheriff's Office Investigates Shootings

Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to Trout Drive, in the West Pangburn area, shortly after 8 PM, January 9th, to a report of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A fifty-five year old Heber Springs resident was pronounced dead at the scene. Cause of death was a single gunshot wound. At this time the incident is under investigation.

 

At approximately 6:15 PM, Sunday, January 13t h Deputies from the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office, along with North Star EMS responded to a report of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Further details of the incident, which occurred at a residence on Fox Chase Road in Heber Springs will be made available as the investigation progresses. At this time no charges have been filed. The victim, who was transported from the scene to Baptist Hospital in Heber Springs, was pronounced dead shortly after 8:00 PM. The identity of the victim is currently being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
