On November 8th 2013 Detectives and Narcotics and Investigators with the Cleburne County Sheriff’s office executed a search warrant at #50 Black Lane in Higden. During the execution of the search warrant officers located numerous items of suspect methamphetamine and marijuana paraphernalia, an amount of substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine and an amount of substance the field tested positive for marijuana. Officers also located a firearm during the search of the property. John Black of Higden was arrested and booked into the Cleburne County Jail on numerous Felony and Misdemeanor charges including Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, Maintaining a Drug Premise, and Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms. John Black's bond was set at 40,000.00 .
