On Saturday, January 28th, 2017 Cleburne County Deputies received information on the whereabouts of Eric Odom, a Felony Absconder wanted by the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Probation and Parole Office. Acting on that information, deputies began searching for Odom. Odom was subsequently located in a pick-up parked at Gateway Grocery just outside Heber Springs. Upon observing the pick-up and Odom inside, deputies approached the vehicle to place him under arrest. Odom exited the truck and fled, leading deputies on a short foot pursuit. Odom was apprehended and transported to the Cleburne County Jail.
