On February 25, 2017, members of the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office participated in the Special Olympics Polar Plunge.  Each year, citizens from all walks of life gather together to jump in freezing cold water to help raise money for Special Olympics.  The Sheriff’s Office raised $250 to give toward Special Olympics this year, and we are looking forward to raising even more next year.  In May, members of the Sheriff’s Office will participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run, also to benefit Special Olympics.  Runners from all over the state will run legs that ultimately converge on Searcy, Arkansas, where the Special Olympic Games are held.  The Sheriff’s Office hopes to bring the Polar Plunge to Cleburne County next year, where citizens of our county can participate and get involved.  Thanks for your continued support!
