Sheriff's Office announces recent new hires

The Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the recent hiring of the following individuals:

Derek Durrance, hired 3/5/17

Kendall Samuel, hired 3/19/17

Breezie Kaufman, hired 4/2/17

Jacob Teel, hired 5/1/17

 

Derek Durrance is a resident of the Heber Springs area and has been a certified law enforcement officer since 2014. Derek has previous law enforcement experience from working for the Heber Springs Police Department, where he served in the patrol division.   

 

Kendall Samuel is from Searcy Arkansas. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Harding University and has served 10 years with the Arkansas Army National Guard. Kendall became a certified law enforcement officer for the state of Arkansas in 2009 and comes to the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office with eight years of experience as an officer.

 

Breezie Kaufman is from Clinton Arkansas. She has an Associate Degree from Arkansas Tech University, where she double majored in Sociology and Criminal Justice. She has previous law enforcement related experience from working for the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office as a dispatcher, a jailer, and a reserve deputy.

 

Jacob Teel is from the Damascus area. Jacob has prior law enforcement related experience from working for the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office as a jailer and a transport deputy. During his time at the jail he reached the position of Sergeant and served six years on their special response team.

 

We are proud to welcome these folks to our team.  They will, and have already been making a positive impact in our county, and will serve with professionalism, respect, and courtesy.
