Sheriff’s Office names Deputy of the Year, and Jailer of the Year

During the month of December, deputies, jailers, and Sheriff’s Office staff had the opportunity to vote on who they thought deserved the titles of Deputy of the Year and Jailer of the year.  There were several people from both the jail and the Sheriff’s Office that garnered many votes, which is indicative of just how hard these men and women work on a daily basis protecting and serving Cleburne County.  The two recipients were presented with a plaque, a canvas painting from “No Greater Love Art” and a handmade wreath.  We are very grateful for the hard work that all of our deputies, jailers, and staff put out on a daily basis, and proud to announce this year’s recipients.

Deputy of the Year: Lt. Bryon Rushing

Jailer of the Year: Cpl. Tracy Hazelwood.

Thank you for a great year, and we look forward to continuing serving Cleburne County in 2018.
