MARCH 15 through April 5 2009 Incidents

On 4/1/09 Lt Doug Bolser took a report of harassing communications. Detective Kim Bettis opened an investigation. After listening to several voicemails from suspect Henry Clayton Grandstaff in which Grandstaff repeatedly threatens to kill his girlfriend, her family, and law enforcement, an affadavit for Stalking and for Failure to Register and/or report changes as required by Arkansas law has been sent to the prosecutor for the issuance of a warrant. Grandstaff is to be considered armed and dangerous. If anyone has information as to his where-abouts please contact the sheriff's office. On 3/25/09 Sgt Bryon Rushing took a report of a residential burglary. Entry to the home was gained through an outside window. A gun safe and several firearms were taken. Detective Kim Bettis, Lt Scott Willeford and Detective John Hendricks processed the scene. It appeared that the suspect possibly wore gloves while in the home no fingerprints were lifted. The gun safe was recovered on Thursday the 2nd of April in the woods on Bittle Road by an individual checking on his hunting equipment. Two weapons were recovered, several are still missing. Also missing from the residence was several knives, money and ammunition.The case is still under investigation. If anyone has information please contact the sheriffs office. Tommy Brady of Concord has been arrested and charged with Breaking and or Entering and theft of property according to Detective Phil Burnham and Detective John Hendricks. Burnham and Hendricks conducted an interview with the suspect and he admitted to taking the 4 wheeler from a storage building.
