Sergeant CJ Hallmark Receives Letter of Commendation

05/01/2018

On April 15, 2018, deputies responded to JFK Park near Heber Springs in reference to an overturned boat.  Two individuals that had been on the boat were pulled from the water prior to the deputies arriving on scene.  While talking to the individuals, Sergeant CJ Hallmark learned that they were not from here, and had lost their car keys in the water.  One of the involved individuals was able to borrow clothes from a nearby camper, but the other was not able to.  After verifying that people were on the way to pick them up, Sergeant Hallmark, without hesitation, drove to Walmart, and purchased clothes for the other individual.

Sergeant Hallmark, along with several other deputies, take community policing to heart, and are always looking for ways to serve their community.  Sergeant Hallmark consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that people are taken care of, and we as a community are lucky to have deputies like him.  I want to personally thank Sergeant Hallmark for his dedication to Cleburne County, and to serving people.  Thank you Sergeant Hallmark!
