Sheriff's Office Participates in "No-shave November"

11/13/2018

You’ll see some furry faces on some of our deputies this month.  For the month of November, law enforcement agencies all across the country participate in No-shave November.  Although it’s done differently in different agencies, Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office personnel donate $20 in exchange for being able to wear facial hair for the month.  At the end of the month, that money is donated to a local non-profit organization as a way for the Sheriff’s Office to give back to our community.  In 2017, the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office donated the raised money to The Call and The Other Side.  For 2018, Sheriff’s Office will be donating the money to The Other Side to help with costs of cleaning up and moving forward due to a recent fire on their campus.  We appreciate The Other Side and look forward to their continued hard work and perseverance in changing lives in our community.
