Tony McHan announced as Deputy of the Quarter

The Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that Tony McHan has been chosen as the deputy of the quarter for the months of January through March of 2019. Tony started to work for the Sheriff’s Office in August of 2018 in the Detention Center and has since been promoted to Sergeant. Tony also recently completed Court Security Officer Training and has become a certified officer of the courts in which he sometimes serves as a Bailiff as well as performing his full time duties in the Detention Center. Tony is also a certified Reserve Deputy and helps with several areas of operation within the sheriff’s office. Before starting with the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office, Tony worked as a Correctional Officer for the Arkansas Department of Correction for 25 and a half years, including serving two years as a Deputy Warden. Tony is always quick to be helpful with any work that needs to be completed within the operation of the Sheriff’s Office, the Detention Center, and the Courts. He always has a great attitude and work ethic. We at the Sheriff’s Office are thankful for his dedication and service to the department and to the citizens of Cleburne County.
