Several Burglaries from the Wilburn and Pangburn area solved

On 9/2/09 Detectives recieved information on the whereabouts of Gerald Shane Baugh a suspect in several of Cleburne Counties most recent burglaries in the Wilburn and Pangurn area. Baugh was said to be at a residence on Sager Lane. Baugh was found hiding in the closet with a sawed off shotgun.He was arrested without incident and interviewed by Detective Kim Bettis and Detective Phil Burnham and admitted to Burglarizing a residence on Old River Road and was charged with Residential Burglary a Class "B" Felony, Theft of Property a "B" Felony and Possession of a Firearm By Certain Persons a class "D" Felony. Baugh is also charged with Breaking and Entering a Class "D" Felony and Theft of Property a Class "C" Felony for a home on McJester Road. Baugh's bond was set at $25,000.00. Adrian Brooke Thompson of Pangburn was also arrested at the residence on Sager Lane and charged with Theft by Receiving a Class " D" Felony. Thompson's Bond was set at $15,000.00. Thompson is the girlfriend of Baugh and had some of the jewelry in her possession that was taken from the home on Old River Road.

Mark Allen of Pleasant Plains was also a suspect in the burglaries and he was located at a residence in Pleasant Plains by Detective Kim Bettis and Detective Phil Burnham with the assistance of Independence County and arrested for his role in the Residential Burglary on Old River Road. Allen had been on the run for the last five years for a warrant from the Department of Community Corrections and a White County Warrant. Allen admitted to Detective Bettis and Burnham that he was an accomplice in the Residential Burglary on Old River Road. Allen's Bond was set at $50,000.00 due to him being a flight risk.

On 9/3/09 Detectives with Cleburne County assisted White County in obtaining a Search warrant for a residence on Fairview Road where Baugh admitted to taking several items that had been previously stolen. Cleburne County was able to recover several tools and a piece of jewelry from the residential burglaries in our county. We are still in search of several items such as televisions, guns and a 4 wheeler. We ask that if any one has information as to the location of some of the items, please contact the sheriff's office. On 9/8/09 Greer's Ferry Police Chief Ray Dearmon located a stolen vehicle just minutes after receiving an all points bulletin to be on the look out for a stolen vehicle out of Conway. Dearmon stopped the vehicle at the Sonic in Greer's Ferry. Detective Kim Bettis assisted Dearmon and as a result of the traffic stop 3 people were arrested. Anthony Mullins of Springtown Texas was the driver of the stolen vehicle. Officer Dearmon charged Mullins with DWI Drugs, possession of an instrument of crime and contributing to the delinquency of a minor all misdemeanor charges. In addition to his misdemeanor charges Detective Bettis Charged Mullin with Felony Theft by Receiving a Class "B" Felony for being in possession of the stolen vehicle. Bond was set at $15,000.00. Two other passengers were in the vehicle Sarah Andres-Binczik and Christopher Lockard. Binczik was charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. Lockard was charged with misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct and Public Intox by Chief Dearmon. Lockard is 18-years-old and his alcohol content level was .11 at the time of the arrest.
