Detective receives Letter of Commendation from local PD

On March 30, 2021, Cleburne County Detective Brandon Long was presented with a "Citation of Excellence" by the Heber Springs Police Department. Detective Long, along with Heber Springs Detective Phil Burnham spent a significant amount of time, effort, and resources during a recent investigation which led to the arrest of two individuals, and the seizure of over a pound of methamphetamine. Our two agencies have worked well together for years, and have been working many drug cases together over the last year or so. Our partnership with the Heber Springs Police Department, along with the Quitman Police Department, the Greers Ferry Police Department, and the Concord Police Department are invaluable, and we certainly appreciate everything they do for our office, and our community at large. Detective Long has been with the Sheriff's Office for several years, and has always been a hard-working, reliable employee. We very much appreciate his efforts in this case, along with everyone else that had a hand in making this case come together. We would also like to say a special thank you to Detective Burnham who has worked many of these cases with Detective Long. They both put in a lot of hard work and long hours doing their best to rid our county of drugs, and for that, we say thank you! Congrats Detective Long!
