Charges Filed in Separate Cases of Burglary, Theft, and Domestic Battering

On Friday, October 14th Detective Sergeant Phil Burnham presented affidavits to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, filing charges against two individuals involved in two separate incidents.

Joseph Michael Hunter, a 35 year old from Ash Flat was charged one count of Residential Burglary and one count of Theft of Property. The matter which was investigated by Detective Burnham, involved checks that had been reported stolen from a 76 year old resident of Cleburne County and that had been forged and cashed in Batesville.

In the second affidavit filed by Sergeant Burnham, 28 year old, Michael Bommarito of Drasco was charged with one count of Domestic Battering in the Second Degree. The incident reported involved a juvenile victim and the charge filed is a Class C Felony. Bommarito also has an outstanding Felony warrant issued by the State of Missouri for Aggravated Assault.

*Investigators and Officers from the Sheriff’s Office are currently attempting to locate Bommarito and anyone having information that would help locate him is asked to please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 501-362-8143. Both this charge and the outstanding Missouri involve violent Felonies and anyone who comes into contact with Bommarito is advised to use caution and to immediately contact law enforcement.*
