Deputies Assist in Child Safety Investigation and Make Drug Arrest

On October 4, 2011 Cleburne County Sheriff’s Deputies were contacted by Investigator Susan Morrow of the Heber Springs DCFS Office and asked to assist DCFS in investigating a report involving child safety issues made to the Child Abuse Hotline. Captain Doug Bolser, Sergeant Jack Smith, and Deputy Justin Thurman accompanied Morrow to 949 Hiram Road where the deputies located Marijuana being grown at the residence. Cleburne County Narcotics agents were contacted and responded to the scene. The Narcotics officers processed the scene, and placed one resident of that address, Myron Holt, age 35 under arrest for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance and Possessing Drug Paraphernalia. Holt was booked into the Cleburne County Detention Center and Bond was set at $1,580.
