On Wednesday, March 8^th, a citizen in Cleburne County was contacted by a Tele-Marketer, calling from a blocked number, who attempted to solicit a donation and claimed to represent the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office.  Please be aware that the Sheriff’s Office DOES NOT use Tele-marketers to solicit donations from the public. Any person who is contacted by anyone claiming to represent the Sheriff’s Office and asked for a donation should disregard the request and is asked to please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 501-362-8143.
